Confirm your registration status by Sept. 14
The Registration and Scheduling team has an important update for students taking clinical clerkships during Autumn Quarter 2023.
You must log in to MyUW and verify your registration for CONJ 699 for Autumn Quarter 2023 by 3 p.m. AK, 4 p.m. PT and 5 p.m. MT on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2023.
What will happen if you don’t do this:
- If you are not registered but should be: You will not be enrolled in courses for the Autumn 2023 quarter, which begins on Monday, Sept. 18, 2023. Without registering, you will not receive credit for the courses, they will not appear on your transcript, and you will not be on track to graduate.
- If you are registered but should not be: You will be charged for courses you do not attend and may receive a failing grade.
Learn more here about what you need to do.
Financial Aid update
Fourth-year students outside Wyoming who are graduating and only taking Transition to Residency (TTR) credits (4) in Spring Quarter, be aware that you are not eligible for financial aid for that quarter and make any necessary plans. Federal loans require at least 6 credits. You will owe $4,320 in tuition that quarter.
If you are a Wyoming Foundations student, your tuition will be covered for 4 credits, according to your state arrangement.
Please reach out to somfao@uw.edu with any questions or concerns.
ICYMI: Have your Curriculum Vitae (CV) or residency application reviewed by Career Advising before application deadlines
Sept. 8 and 15 are your last opportunities before residency application deadlines to have your CV or a PDF of your residency application reviewed by Career Advising during a CV group session. Click this link to register – space is limited.
Want your residency application reviewed? Download a PDF of your application from the application system and upload that document at the time of booking a CV Group Review Session. Note: Your residency application should be built from your CV – the experiences listed on your application should be in the same bulleted format as they are listed on your CV – use the CV template and resources on the Career Advisting website.
In advance of the session a Career Advisor will review your CV and provide personalized feedback. During the group session, we will address common themes for improvement and answer your questions.
The sessions are virtual and start at 11 a.m. AK, noon PT and 1 p.m. MT. Open to all students. Instructions for how to prepare are given at the time of registration. Register now.
Visit Career Advising’s CV webpage for more information.
In case you missed it, here is the previous newsletter for MS4s.
