Have your Curriculum Vitae (CV) or residency application reviewed by Career Advising before application deadlines

Here’s your chance before residency application deadlines to have your CV or a PDF of your residency application reviewed and edited by Career Advising. Click this link to register – space is limited.

If you plan to have your residency application reviewed, download a PDF of your application from the application system and upload that document at the time of booking a CV Group Review Session. Note:

  • Your residency app should be built from your CV
  • The experiences listed on your application should be in the same format as they are listed on your CV
  • Use the CV template and resources on our website

In advance of the session a Career Advisor will review your CV and provide personalized feedback. During the group session, we will address common themes for improvement and answer your questions.

All sessions are virtual and start at 11 a.m. AK, noon PT and 1 p.m. MT. Open to all students. Instructions for how to prepare are given at the time of registration. Register now.

  • August 11 and 25

Don’t forget to complete your Infection Control Training by Aug. 10

All matriculated UWSOM students, including students on leave of absence and MSTP students in graduate school, are required to take and document Infection Control Training. The deadline for the Canvas training, quiz and attestation is Aug. 10.

Please self-enroll with your UW NetID using this link: https://canvas.uw.edu/enroll/R3CFWD. You will need to watch the donning and doffing PPE videos, then complete a three-question attestation in Canvas followed by the five infection control training modules (which will take about 15 minutes total). The quiz questions are embedded in the training modules.

Compliance will email you a certificate of completion which you can upload to your Castlebranch UW71 Compliance Tracker by Aug. 10.

Have a wonderful week!
