Thank you for the steady climb in survey participation
This is a message from Sara Kim, Associate Dean for Educational Quality Improvement: As of this week, the response rate is 60.4 percent, an increase of 4 percentage points from last week. This is the highest response rate we have seen in a one-month period, and I thank you for your high degree of engagement. May I count on the rest of the class to consider allocating 10 to 12 minutes towards completing the survey?
At the regional campus level, Montana is now at 90 percent (up 3 percentage points from last week), followed by Wyoming (75 percent, up 5 points), Spokane (60 percent, up 7 points) and Alaska (60 percent, up 5), Idaho (55 percent, no change), and Seattle (51.5 percent, up 4). Thank you for this steady increase!

Career Advising Student Advisory Board – Tip of the Month
Now is a great time to start writing your personal statement! It is nice to have it done early so you know your narrative well when asked about it on your rotations in your desired field. You’ll also be able to give it to your letter writers so they get to know you better (they may even offer feedback!). Of course, you’ll add more to it after your summer rotations, but get started here when you get a chance.
