Gold Humanism Honor Society
The Gold Humanism Honor Society (GHHS) recognizes students, residents and faculty who are exemplars of compassionate patient care and who serve as role models, mentors, and leaders in medicine. GHHS members are peer nominated and are the ones that others say they want taking care of their own family.
Our Projects
The Imposter Syndrome Project is meant to demystify and normalize the many stressors involved in medical school. Fellow students share their vulnerable stories and pieces of advice based on their experiences. We have highlighted the struggles and mental health issues surrounding Step 1 previously and now we would like to turn our attention to clerkship rotations. Hopefully these can be a collective of thoughts and experiences that unite us and where we can find solitude.

Story Slam is an event held during Transition to Residency for graduating MS4 students.
The goal of the Story Slam Project is to connect students and faculty through shared stories and experiences, similar to story-telling podcasts such as The Moth. Our hope is that sharing stories of humanism, compassion, challenges, advocacy, or other experiences in medicine, will help foster an environment in which our community can find common ground and support.
We will begin asking for submissions from the graduating MS4 class during winter.
