Service & Activity Tracker FAQs

How can I access data that I have submitted on the Service & Activity Tracker?

I just logged my activities, but they are not showing up in the summary. Why?

It generally takes one business day for entries to show up in the summary.

I made an error in my entry.  How can I make changes?

Contact AADM@uw.edu to request that an entry be deleted.  You will then have three options:

  1. Resubmit a corrected entry.
  2. Partial resubmit – Christen sends a copy of your previous submission. You make edits and return to Christen.
  3. Override – if there is a miskeyed value or date, you can request a change to that field. Note that Christen cannot change the reflection statement in this manner.

Should I log my service hours individually, or is it ok to lump them together?

The tracker is designed to support your record keeping and if it works best to organize multiple events under one date that is fine by us.

What kinds of service projects “count”?

The Tracker is a tool for you to customize in the way that works best for you.  Please include and categorize activities in any way that you choose.

However, keep in mind that when you are filling out the annual Service Award application there is a distinction drawn between activities for which you receive academic credit and service learning activities.

When I clicked submit, the data was automatically logged under the previous project that I submitted data for.

The most common reason students experience this is that they have a previous session hanging in their cache. Please clear cache and cookies, then try to resubmit.

If you are encountering a separate issue or the above solutions are not resolving your current issue, please contact Christen White, aadm@uw.edu.
