Participants Wanted: Clerkship Assessment Study
Want to improve clerkship assessment? MS4s are invited to participate in a UW Institutional Review Board-approved study that will inform planning, implementation and evaluation of equitable assessment systems for medical students. The hope is that this research will benefit medical students by improving clerkship assessments so that they support growth and best reflect the knowledge and skills of students.
Participants will be offered a $100 gift card for up to 90 minutes of their time.
What does participation entail?
- Participation in a focus group with other students over zoom that will be 60-90 minutes
- Questions about experiences with assessment in medical school
- Participation will be voluntary and interviews will be de-identified
- Identifying information will not be shared with participants’ institution or in future scientific presentations or publications
- Participants will receive a $100 gift card of their choice after completion of the focus group

Participants Wanted: Educational Quality Improvement Study on Medical Student Education on Caring for Older Adults
Study Objectives and Specific Aims:
- Understand the types of exposure to geriatrics medical students receive during medical school
- Develop and test a geriatric knowledge assessment tool (MCQs) for fourth year medical students
- Identify gaps in geriatrics knowledge among graduating medical students to help inform future curricula
Time Commitment:
