A tip from Career Advising for students applying in Match 2025

A tip from the Career Advising Office: While the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) opens for application submissions on Wednesday, Sept. 4, all applications submitted on or before Sept. 25 will display an application date of Sept. 25. Applications submitted after Sept. 25 will display the actual application date.

There is no advantage to applying early and no need to rush your application.

Please take the time you need.

Thank you for taking the survey

From Sara Kim, PhD, research professor, surgery, and associate dean for Educational Quality Improvement (EQI):

Thank you, thank you, thank you, MS4s. You ended up raising the survey response rate to 74%, which allowed us to close the survey on a very strong note.  We know the survey request came during a very busy period of your life, and it’s for this reason we are doubly appreciative of your engagement.

As the school is gearing up for its accreditation preparation, we will get back to you with a report on the survey findings and follow-up actions.

Be sure to sign up by Aug. 30 for a mock interview if you haven’t already

If you haven’t already done so, this is a reminder to sign up for Career Advising’s Mock Interview program. Sign-ups close at 10:59 p.m. AK, 11:59 p.m. PT on Aug. 30 and 12.59 a.m. MT Aug. 31.

UWSoM Dept of Radiation Oncology hosts open house about residencies

You are invited to a virtual and relaxed meet and greet on Monday, Sept. 16, 2024, where you can get to know faculty and residents from the Radiation Oncology Residency Program at UWSoM.
