Pride Month WWAMI resources 2024

Here are Pride Month activities that we know of in WWAMI regions. If you know of an event of interest to students that is not here, please let us know.

Seattle: You can sign up now to join UW Medicine at the Seattle Pride Parade on June 30, 2024.

Eastern Washington: The Spokane Pride Parade and Rainbow Festival will be held on June 8, 2024. For more information on attending, including registering to march in the parade or pay for an exhibitor booth, please visit https://www.spokanepride.org/. Throughout the year, UWSOM students in the area can find information and resources through the Gonzaga University Lincoln LGBTQ+ Resource Center.

Wyoming: The Laramie PrideFest will be held from June 7 through 15, 2024 with a series of events. For more information, including how to sign up for a booth or march in the parade, please visit https://www.laramiepridefest.com/. Throughout the year, UWSOM students in the area can find information and resources through the University of Wyoming Poke Pride Center.

Alaska: The Anchorage Pride Parade will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024. For more information, including how to register to march in the parade, please visit https://www.alaskanstogether.org/anchorage_pride_parade_2024. Throughout the year, UWSOM students can find information and resources through the University of Alaska Anchorage’s Multicultural Student Services + Pride Center.

Montana: Bozeman Pride this year is scheduled for the week of May 27 to June 2, including a “Pride-A-Palooza” resource fair and a “pride stroll” on Main Street. Idaho: The North Idaho Pride Alliance’s CDA4Pride 2024 will be held in June 2024, including a “Pride in the Park” community event on June 1, and an “Inclusive Healthcare Forum & Gen Silent Screening” on June 13.
