MS2 Class Information – June 2, 2022

Final chance to provide feedback and enter to win

Here is a message from Sara Kim, Associate Dean for Educational Quality Improvement: Below is the near-final response rate as the survey link was sent today for the last time to those who haven’t had a chance to complete it. The school level response rate is 68.3 percent, a slight increase from 67.2 percent last week. Both Wyoming (90 percent) and Montana (83.3 percent) exceeded the goal of 80 percent. Thank you to all who took the survey. I also thank students in Alaska (73.7 percent), Spokane (67.8 percent), Idaho (65 percent), and Seattle (60 percent ) for completing the lengthy survey. We welcome additional students to complete the survey this week!

Please know every data point and every comment will be examined and synthesized into a report you will receive in addition to sharing it with the medical school leaders and teams who are responsible for various programs and processes.

We will wait until this Friday, June 3, before doing the drawings for the incentives (two $50 Amazon gifts, twelve $25 Amazon gifts of your choice, three $50-value WWAMI gift packs).

Thank you again and good luck with your clerkship training!

Career Advising Student Advisory Board Tip of the Month

We hope you are enjoying the transition from MS2 to MS3! You can always ask your “big doc” for tips on these rotations, as we have done them all already. Make sure you read the webpage for each rotation and keep grading policies in mind. For example, rotations have varying shelf exam minimums to obtain honors. Also, doing well on the exam can often bump up your final grade. Use those study skills from MS2 to enhance your MS3 clerkship grades!
