Three more weeks to go: Foundations phase survey

You too could have the chance to win prizes worth up to $50

From Sara Kim, Associate Dean for Educational Quality Improvement: We are at 65.3 percent participation, a slight increase from the survey response rate of 63.4 percent last week. We have three weeks to go before closing the survey, and I thank each of you who continue to complete the survey.

Wyoming and Montana are two campuses that have met the goal of 80 percent survey response rate (90 percent and 80 percent, respectively), followed by Alaska (68.4 percent), Gonzaga (64.4 percent), Idaho (60 percent), and Seattle (58 percent). A big shout out to the Alaska students for adding 5.2 percentage points to the response rate over the past week, while Seattle student participation increased by 2 percentage points and Gonzaga students by 1.7.

We send an email from eqi@uw.edu with the survey link every Tuesday. Please know that your email address is only used for tracking and incentive purposes; your anonymous responses will not be linked to your identity in any way.

This year, we are offering the following incentives for completing the survey:

  • Two $50 items you select from Amazon
  • Twelve $25 items you select from Amazon
  • Three $50-value WWAMI gift packs

Thank you so much for your time and candid input into the survey!

Career Advising Student Advisory Board Tip of the Month

We hope you are enjoying the transition from MS2 to MS3! You can always ask your “big doc” for tips on these rotations, as we have done them all already. Make sure you read the webpage for each rotation and keep grading policies in mind. For example, rotations have varying shelf exam minimums to obtain honors. Also, doing well on the exam can often bump up your final grade. Use those study skills from MS2 to enhance your MS3 clerkship grades!
