MS2 Class Information – September 2, 2021

Financial Aid Update

Your aid should arrive in your bank account on Friday, September 3.

  • Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, Idaho students: An individual disbursement cannot exceed $15K. If your Fall Quarter disbursement is more than $15K, Student Fiscal Services (SFS) will place a temporary tuition charge on your account. Once your first disbursement has processed, they will remove the temporary tuition charge so you can receive your second disbursement.
  • Seattle/Spokane Students: Ensure you are registered for classes or you won’t receive aid.

Career Advising Student Advisory Board – Tip of the Month

Welcome back! MBB is a rigorous block, so make sure this is your main focus. In the background, especially if you didn’t have time over summer, try to sprinkle in some Step 1 prep this fall. A good option is to get through as much sketchy pharm and micro as you can (best with Anki). Pixorize is a similar visual resource that covers those tough topics from MCBD. I know Step 1 is pass/fail, but as someone who just took Step 2, I can say that a lot carries over and you’ll thank yourself for taking Step 1 seriously. Knowing sketchy will also set you up for success on rotations, as you’ll get asked these questions in person and on the shelf exams!
