Tip of the Month” from the Career Advising Student Advisory Board
Welcome back! Mind, Brain and Behavior (MBB) is a rigorous block, so make sure this is your main focus. In the background, especially if you didn’t have time over the summer, try to sprinkle in some Step 1 prep this fall. A good option is to get through as much Sketchy pharm and micro with Anki as you can.
I (Shanelle Briggs) know Step 1 is pass/fail, but as someone who just took Step 2, I can say that a lot carries over, and you’ll thank yourself for taking Step 1, seriously 😊. Knowing Sketchy will also set you up for success on rotations, as you’ll get asked these questions in person and on the shelf exams!
