Have Your Curriculum Vitae (CV) Reviewed by Career Advising
We encourage students to have their medical school CV written prior to starting the clinical years of medical school. Please sign up for an upcoming CV Group Review Session by Career Advising.
All sessions are virtual and run 12:00-12:30 pm PT. Open to all students. Click this link to register – space is limited.
In advance of the session a Career Advisor will review your CV and provide personalized feedback. During the group session, we will address common themes for improvement and answer your questions.
Instructions for how to prepare are given at the time of registration. Visit Career Advising’s CV webpage for more information and download the UWSOM Medical School CV Template.

Peer to Peer: Tip of the Month from Career Advising
This advice is for all students and includes first generation and BIPOC student lenses.
MS2: We hope Step 1 dedicated is going well! We won’t overwhelm you with career advising tasks but pay attention to which topics you enjoy reviewing. This might be a helpful clue as to which specialty you will enjoy one day. Keep up the great work!
