Idaho WWAMI is thrilled to recognize Dr. Suzanna Hubele as a 2025 recipient of the Idaho WWAMI Alumni Award for Excellence in Mentoring, Teaching, Leadership and Patient Care. A University of Idaho graduate and devoted rural physician, Dr. Hubele received the award at Two Rivers Medical Clinic in Weiser on July 31,2025, where Dr. Mary Barinaga, Assistant Clinical Dean for Idaho WWAMI, presented it before colleagues, students, and community members.
Since earning her medical degree through Idaho WWAMI in 2004, Dr. Hubele has built a career rooted in service to her patients, her profession, and her community. Board-certified in family medicine, she has spent nearly two decades caring for patients in Weiser. She has also served as a preceptor for the Rural Underserved Opportunities Program (RUOP), for more than 20 years, mentoring medical students with a passion for rural healthcare.
Her commitment to shaping future physicians and delivering compassionate care makes her a standout among WWAMI alumni.
