SOM Small Group Room Scheduling FAQs
Generally, we try to complete requests within 2 business days of receiving your request.
Once we receive your email, we will try to find an open room. If there is no availability, we will try to provide alternatives.
After an open room is identified, we will reply and attach a PDF to your email to confirm the room reservation.
Yes, these classrooms are all Zoom-compatible! Please refer to the T5 Room Quick Start Guide for instructions on how to set up Zoom meetings and wireless screen-sharing.

Yes! We strongly encourage faculty or staff who need rooms to identify their needs at least one quarter prior to the start date.
If you know your schedule, please prioritize sending those requests to somrooms@uw.edu (email) as soon as possible.
If you are unable to do this, do not worry – sometimes more rooms become available before or at the beginning of the quarter.
Please do not remove furniture from any of these classrooms!
If furniture is moved around within the room, please reset to the original layout after your event. Failure to do so multiple times may result in decreased opportunities to reserve departmental rooms.
To request a conference room in the E-wing (i.e., E308 or E309), or the A300 Suite (e.g., A325, A327, or A317), please email a300@uw.edu. They will check availability and process your room reservation accordingly.
