Non-Clinical Elective Course Application Resources
APPROVAL FLOW SUMMARY
APPLICATION PROCESS
1. Department fills out online course application in Kuali.
APPROVAL PROCESS
2. Department Chair (or designated approver) approves application.
3. School of Medicine approves application.
4. UW Curriculum Committee (UWCC) approves application.
- Kuali course application deadlines will apply!!
SCHEDULING PROCESS
5. Once the course is approved at UWCC, the UW Curriculum Office will finalize course approvals in Kuali, which is whe the course would be available to be added to the UW Time Schedule.
- This can take up to two weeks after the UWCC Meeting!
It can take time to get all the approvals. Please submit your application in Kuali a minimum of one week before the UW Curriculum Deadline.
