EQI ISA Survey – Deadline Extended to October 26
UWSOM is conducting a short survey to measure improvements on initiatives identified in last year’s ISA survey. Most students have reported that it takes only 5 minutes to complete. The LCME does not count responses under the minimum threshold of 70%, which is why it is so important to us that students fill out the survey.
Your cohort’s current response rate is 64%. The survey deadline has been extended to Sunday, October 26 – please help us reach our 70% goal!

Interview Season Survey #1 Opens Oct. 28
Between now and January, you will receive three interview season surveys from career advising. The first of these surveys will arrive in your inbox from Qualtrics on the morning of October 28. We ask everyone to respond to this survey, even if your specialty has not yet released interview invitations. Your response helps us and your Specialty Advisor know how your interview season is going and how best to support you.

Transition to Residency – Student Takeaways
Transition to Residency (TTR) will take place May 11–21, 2026, with the first week (May 11–15) held remotely and requiring real-time participation via Zoom, and the second week (May 19–21) held in-person on the Seattle campus. This hybrid structure balances financial considerations with the goal of providing high-quality, specialty-specific training and opportunities to connect with peers before beginning residency.

Have a wonderful week!
