This Giving Day, Wyoming WWAMI is continuing a multi-year campaign to establish a travel scholarship for our students in the final clinical phase of their medical education. The window for Giving Day is between noon, October 23 and noon, October 24, 2025. The purpose of the fund will be to provide financial assistance to our third- and fourth-year students as they face the hardship of traveling long distances between their clinical clerkship sites across the five-state region of Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho.
Second-year medical student Avery Potter of Casper (shown in photo) will travel throughout the WWAMI five-state region starting in Spring 2026 when she begins her clinical rotations. She is one of many students who would benefit from a travel scholarship.
