Join UW Team for Medical Education Scholarly Opportunity
We’re looking for at least 2 senior medical students (MS3 or MS4) who are passionate about medical education, innovation, and technology to join the UW team.
The UW team, led by Karen McDonough, MD, and Edith Wang, PhD, have submitted a letter of intent for the Clinical Reasoning Collaborative Grant sponsored by Sketchy. A select group of institutions will be invited to complete a secondary application. Five medical schools will be chosen to partner with Sketchy to co-design and implement DDx, an innovative AI-powered tool for teaching and assessing clinical reasoning in medical education. This is a unique opportunity to:
- Collaborate on cutting-edge educational design
- Gain experience with AI in medical education
- Strengthen your CV with a national project
Interested? Questions? Please contact Edith Wang (ehwang@uw.edu).
