PREFERENCING FOR PATIENT CARE CLERKSHIPS CLOSES TUESDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2025, AT 4:00 PM (PACIFIC TIME). This is a hard stop. EVOS cannot be re-opened.
Patient Care schedules are created using EVOS – an automated system that simultaneously considers your scheduling preferences, your classmates’ preferences, and site availability to create the best schedule both for you individually and your class overall. Note that WRITE and Olympia LIC students do not use EVOS as they are placed into schedules by their programs.
For Track students: The top 4 preferences should be at your Track location. Your other preferences can be for sites within or outside of your Track. As a reminder, Track students are guaranteed 24 weeks within your Track. Any additional weeks within your Track will be based on the EVOS optimization tool, which takes into account all student preferences.
The goal is to create complete schedules that result in unimpeded progress toward the MD degrees while taking your preferences into account.
