Dr. Olivia “Rae” Wright is a Clinical Associate Professor in the department of Family Medicine and is the Associate Program Director the UW Family Medicine Residency Network faculty development program. Rae is board certified in both Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine. She has served as a residency director, fellowship director and leads an ECHO series for the state of Oregon around adolescent addiction. She completed her residency training at the UCLA/Ventura County Medical Center and medical school at the University of Kentucky.

Rae grew up in the Appalachian Mountains of Eastern Kentucky. She enjoys traveling around and hiking the US in her VW Buzz van. She also lives part time in Barcelona where she spends time walking and daydreaming. She is committed to education and curriculum development in UME, GME and to the broader community.
