UIG was created to support students who are still exploring which specialty may be the right fit for them. Through physician panels, workshops, and other specialty-focused events, we aim to give students opportunities to learn about different career paths while connecting with physicians across specialties.
As UIG enters its second year, we are looking for 4–5 new co-leads, particularly among the MS1classes. The time commitment is approximately 1–2 hours per month, and co-leads help organize events, connect with physicians, communicate opportunities to students, and develop new ways to support specialty exploration. No specialty commitment is required; being undecided is encouraged!
