Fall Senior AOA Election Results
This past Monday evening, the UW Chapter of AOA held their election for Senior AOA members. Students were selected using a process that incorporates academic performance, character references, lived experience statements, and information about their service and scholarly efforts. The students’ names were de-identified during the election process. All elected students have been notified of their selection by the AOA chapter faculty advisor.
Students listed at the link below have been elected and given permission to share their names. Please join us in congratulating the newly elected “senior” members of the University of Washington’s chapter of Alpha Omega Alpha, the National Honor Medical Society!
Recording and Presentation Materials Now Available: It’s Going to Be Okay! Explore & Focus Phase Curriculum & Career Planning Q&A Session
If you are a member of the Class of 2028, the recording and associated slide decks from last week’s, It’s Going to Be Okay! Explore & Focus Phase Curriculum & Career Planning Q&A Session are now posted at the top of the Guide to 4th Year Planning website.
You will receive an invitation from your dedicated Career Advisor in 2-3 weeks to schedule your Explore & Focus Phase Career Planning Appointment starting in late September or early October. Please understand that for the next two weeks Career Advising is fully supporting the MS4 class as they approach the residency application deadline of September 23 – our response times will be slow during this period.
If you have questions about E&F phase curriculum, Gina Franco, Assistant Director of the Clinical Curriculum is available. You may also direct questions about any aspect of E&F phase planning to Dr. Maya Sardesai, Assistant Dean of Student Development, who joined the session.
