AOA Senior Fall Election: Applications Due August 24
The UW Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society is accepting applications and nominations for its fall “Senior” election, open to eligible MS4 students. AOA selection considers academic performance, service and extracurricular involvement, research, lived experiences, and a character reference.
Deadline: Monday, August 24 at 10:45 PM AK / 11:45 PM PT / 12:45 AM MT (Tuesday). Late submissions will not be accepted.
Students must resubmit an application even if they applied in the spring. Previous character references do not need to be resubmitted.
Signaling Strategies for the 2027 Residency Application Cycle: Tips and Resources

You’re invited to a virtual Signal Strategy Workshop that is organized by multiple West Coast medical schools. This session will include a discussion of strategies for using your program signals across the various residency application platforms.
Presented by medical school advisors from seven schools in the Pacific region:
- University of Arizona College of Medicine, Tucson
- Keck School of Medicine of USC
- Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine
- OHSU School of Medicine
- University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine
- University of Washington School of Medicine
- Washington State University College of Medicine
