TTR Week Lunch in Seattle

All MS4 students are invited to join the Final Steps session in HSEB 345 on May 19 from 11:30-1:00 PM PT to complete the AAMC Grad Questionnaire survey and pick up Physician’s Oath & Hooding Ceremony Tickets and Stoles. If you have completed the survey already, please feel free to stop by for lunch and collect your tickets and stoles.
AAMC Grad Questionnaire Update: Week #10

Thank you to the 15 of you who have helped raise our response rate to 53% this week (national: 73%)! UWSOM’s goal remains 80% this year, and the survey will stay open through early June. This survey, designed for all graduating medical students, provides national benchmarks in areas such as curriculum, student services, and the learning environment. Your feedback directly shapes how we improve the UWSOM medical education program for future students.
Your personalized survey link was sent from gq@aamc.org on April 1, with the most recent follow-up reminder on May 1. Please look for the subject line, “Your link to the 2026 AAMC Medical School Graduation Questionnaire (GQ),” or search your inbox for an email from gq@aamc.org.
For further incentive: By filling out the survey, you could win up to $50 for your participation!
Connect with Rural Residency Programs for Virtual Conversations
Interested in pursuing rural practice? Want to learn more about what is involved in a rural residency training program? The Rural Medical Training Collaborative (RMTC) is hosting a virtual event designed to connect medical students with current residents, staff, and faculty from multiple rural residency programs.
Attendees will have the opportunity to:
- Browse virtual “booths” of participating programs in a low-pressure environment
- Ask questions directly to program faculty, staff, and residents. For students looking for a more in-depth connection, participating programs offer chances to jump into a video call with representatives
- Compare programs to better understand fit, culture, and training experience
- Walk away with a clearer sense of where you want to apply
The event is completely free, but students must register in order to attend.
Date: Tuesday, August 11, 2026
Time: 5:00-7:00 PM PT
This link will take you to past information for MS4s.
