Seattle-based students are invited to participate in a pilot simulation session at the Harborview Medical Center (HMC) WWAMI Institute for Simulation in Healthcare (WISH).
The session is open to all medical students and is intended to give MS1 and MS2 students with physical disabilities an opportunity to assess their accommodations needs in simulated clinical settings.
The session will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 9:00 am to 12:00 PM.
Students will perform clinical tasks in 4 simulated clinical settings with the goal of identifying potential barriers and developing personalized accommodation strategies to support their success in clinical environments. Volunteer MS3 & MS4 students will serve as facilitators.
We will be asking students to provide feedback around the session which will be reported only in aggregate without identifiers.
