The Medical Student Technology Advisory Team (medSTAT) is recruiting new members. Anyone interested in the intersection of technology, education, and medicine is encouraged join the group. All are welcome regardless of technological expertise!
A full description of the role of medSTAT can be found on the medSTAT page. The topics addressed are determined largely by student interest. This year will likely include things like AI for learning, competency dashboards, student digital experience, electronic health record education, 3D printing, virtual reality/augmented reality, medical education apps/learning resources, and anything else students bring to the table.
MedSTAT meets Monday evenings via zoom about once a month. The first member meeting will be September 28 at 6:30 pm PST, and you can sign up for the listserv to get the Zoom link.
