Dr. Fiona Gallahue is a Professor and the Program Director Emeritus in the Department of Emergency Medicine. She received her M.D. from Washington University in St. Louis and completed her residency training at Bellevue Hospital Center/New York University. She was born and raised in New York City. After working in New York City as an attending, she came to Seattle to establish the emergency medicine residency which was accredited in 2011. She stepped down in 2024 from residency leadership and then trained as a leadership coach through IPEC. She is currently working towards her MHPE with Maastricht University and New York University. She is passionate about medical education, especially in supporting learners in their journey of becoming independent clinicians and leaders.
In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her daughters and/or MFA husband exploring nature, Seattle foods, or artistic ventures such as musicals, drag events, or museums.
