WRITE WWAMI Excellence in Teaching Award

The WWAMI Rural Integrated Training Experience (WRITE) will be awarding one preceptor from each region the WWAMI Excellence in Teaching Award for 2018. This award recognizes and honors preceptors with a track record of excellence in teaching medical students, across all specialties, as well as those that serve as leaders in their rural community. Any current or former WRITE student is welcome to submit a nomination.

The deadline for nominations is July 25, 2018 at 12:00 pm PT.

A selection committee composed of former and current WRITE students, the Dean of Rural Programs, the WRITE Director, and the WRITE Education Specialist will meet to review all nominees. The winner from each region will be presented their award at the 2018 WRITE Faculty Development Conference in September.
