The Educational Quality Improvement Strategic Planning (EQISP) Committee is recruiting two first-year students as members of the committee. 

The EQISP Committee ensures that the University of Washington School of Medicine (UWSOM) is meeting educational goals for medical student programs and achieving excellence and innovation in our learning programs. Service on the EQISP Committee requires both interest and commitment to the advancement of medical education and continuous quality improvement. This is an excellent opportunity to have a voice and make an impact in the school.  

Students are expected to serve for the duration of their academic tenure at UWSOM, but will be excused from meetings during the Patient Care Phase due to student schedule constraints. Representatives from each year are selected and balanced across WWAMI regions. This information sheet will provide additional information about the committee, the time commitment and the application process.
