Faculty Appointments

The LCME requires that preceptors supervising and/or assessing students must have a UWSOM faculty appointment.  Preceptors cannot supervise WRITE students unless they have a UWSOM clinical faculty appointment.

If you have new preceptors or others who will be teaching, they need to complete a clinical faculty application as soon as possible.  They are allowed to work with students while their application is being processed.
