GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

As a TRUST Scholar, you are expected to fulfill several requirements throughout your time at the University of Washington School of Medicine. These requirements include regular curricula in the School of Medicine and TRUST programmatic requirements that are designed to align with your curricular phases in medical school. All TRUST Scholars are expected to remain in academic good standing in accordance with the UW School of Medicine in addition to completing the following:
     

  • First Summer Experience (FSE)
  • Understanding Population Health Needs: Working with Data (Underserved Pathway Module)
  • Go to TRUST Continuity Community during Integration and/or Medicine, Health & Society Weeks
  • Rural Underserved Opportunities Program (RUOP)
  • WWAMI TRUST Leadership Retreat
  • WWAMI Rural Integrated Training Experience (WRITE)
  • Underserved Pathway (optional, but strongly recommended)

 

TRUST Program Expectations

  • Participate in TRUST sanctioned activities such as but not limited to speaker series, workshops, lunch and learns, and conferences
  • In addition to upholding the UW School of Medicine Standards of Conduct and Professional Behavioral Policy, represent the TRUST program’s values and mission
  • Communicate issues, concerns or situations that may arise personally or academically with your regional Clinical or Foundations Dean and staff
