RUOP sites vary year-to-year due to preceptor availability. These are just a few examples of sites that have been utilized in recent years.
- Alaska: Valdez, Naknek, Bethel, Kotzebue
- Idaho: Cottonwood, Orofino, Twin Falls, Rexburg, Smelterville
- Montana: Browning, Havre, Red Lodge, Conrad
- Western Washington: Longview, Kent, Burien, Shoreline, Seattle (urban underserved)
- Eastern and Central Washington: Wenatchee, Othello, Pomeroy, Deer Park
- Wyoming: Cody, Rock Springs, Rawlins, Gillette, Thayne
