Military in Medicine student group hosts informative meetings

Published on

This week, Gonzaga University profiled MS2 Matthew Thomas, who is helping to bring new life and activity to the Military in Medicine student group. The group supports students who are receiving funding for medical school from the Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP), created under the authority of the Uniformed Services Health Professions Revitalization Act of 1972 — the primary source of physicians entering the U.S. Armed Forces.

The group hosts online educational gatherings. In February, they will host a speaker from Madigan Army Medical Center. Anybody who is interested in hearing more about military residencies and the life of a military doctor is very welcome. If you’re interested in the group, you can reach out to Matthew Thomas.
