Aug. 29 online webinar for URM students and allies about the coming Match and UW residencies

Published on

The University of Washington’s Network of Underrepresented Residents & Fellows (UW NURF) and Office of Graduate Medical Education (GME) cordially invites URM students and/or allies to participate in its two-hour Virtual Diversity Recruitment Town Hall.

When: Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2023

Time: 5 p.m. AK, 6 p.m. PT, 7 p.m. MT

This event welcomes prospective applicants from underrepresented/disadvantaged backgrounds and allies with the goal to introduce them to University of Washington programs. The goal is to spark interest in UWSOM’s outstanding residency and fellowship programs in preparation for the interview season.

Leaders of UW organizations involved in resident affairs will give you a preview of  residents’ and fellows’ experience and answer some of the most popular questions. There will also be specialty-specific Zoom sessions at the end of the event for you to interact with residents and faculty in the programs that most interest you.

Please RSVP on this form so you can receive the Zoom link close to the date.

Questions? Email Nora Coronado (ncorona@uw.edu) or UW NURF leadership (uwnurf_leadership@uw.edu).
