Consider becoming an Admissions Ambassador

Published on

If you sign up for the Admissions Ambassadors Program, you can help future medical students by being there for them!

As an ambassador, you’ll be an important part of the medical education ecosystem by helping the Admissions team connect with future students. Your participation level in virtual and in-person opportunities will be up to you and your schedule. Please see this document for more information about this volunteer opportunity.

Sign up here (it only takes a moment!) by Wednesday, Aug. 30. You’ll need to be signed into your UW account to complete the form.   As circumstances may have changed since last year’s sign-ups, if you’ve signed up to be an Ambassador in the past, we’re asking that you sign up again this year.

The Admissions team adds: Applicants come from all backgrounds, and we know how important it is for them to connect with people they can identify with. We encourage students from all backgrounds, especially those who are first gen and/or underrepresented in medicine, to participate if you feel you have capacity. We also hope to have students from each site and every year involved so that applicants will have someone to reach out to with questions.
