Commemorating First Gen Day

National First-Generation Day is a time to recognize the challenges and celebrate the successes of first-generation students, faculty and staff and other individuals whose parents did not receive a baccalaureate degree.

Nine members of the UW Medicine community shared their thoughts about being a first-generation student or graduate in The Huddle. Hear from students Brayden Crowley, Erica Crittendon, Justin Lo, Sheva Mozafari, Jamie Ritter and Ysabella Raceli D. Rivera.
