Application Information for 2024-2025 Patient Care Phase
Before you apply, watch the 2023 Introduction to Patient Care and Special Programs recording and the Seattle-led Q&A session. The Q&A session recording will be available in mid-May 2023.
Olympia LIC 2024-2025 Application
Application Timeline
- June 5, 2023: Application opens
- July 5, 2023: Application closes
- July 7, 2023: You will be contacted to schedule a 15-minute interview
- July 10-July 21: Interviews held via Zoom (dates TBA)
- July 28, 2023: Acceptance notifications sent
- August 4, 2023: Decision to participate due
Applications will open on June 5 and interviews will be held in mid-July.

2024-2025 Patient Care Phase Calendar
LIC Start Date: March 25, 2024
LIC End Dates: (varies – see schedule below)
February 21, 2025 (without Patient Care Phase elective)
March 7, 2025 (with Patient Care Phase 2-week elective)
March 21, 2025 (with Patient Care Phase 4-week elective)
Students may opt to register for a 2- or 4-week elective during their last four weeks of the Patient Care Phase. This elective can be in Olympia or anywhere in the WWAMI region.
