Othello is located in Adams County within the Columbia Basin. This rural town of approximately 7,000 is the the largest town within the county and is considered the “Heart” of the Columbia Basin Project. Although primarily known as an agricultural producer of apples, wheat, corn and other crops, Othello’s potato farms provide the U.S. with half of its french fries (Columbia Basin Health Association —Othello Clinic).
