Apply to RUOP

The RUOP Summer 2026 application opens December 1st, 2025 and closes January 4th, 2026 (at 11:59PM Pacific). There is no benefit to submitting an application early; please fill out the application thoroughly and provide ample details in your responses. This information will be forwarded to the Placement Coordinators and our team will do our best to match you with your preferences. Please note that no exceptions will be made for late applications.

IMPORTANT: The Office of Rural Programs does not have the ability to edit responses once submitted. As a result, we STRONGLY suggest selecting ‘Save my response to edit’ on the confirmation screen before closing the window. This will allow you to go in and make edits if needed. If you do not save your response after submitting, you may need to complete a new application if any future changes are needed.
