Graduated from Washington State University with a Masters of Science and completed his MD from St. George’s University in Grenada. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at University of Wyoming in Casper. He is married with four children and enjoys skiing, fishing, water sports, rock climbing, hiking, back packing, cycling, and mountaineering.<\/p>\n

Onboarding\/Compliance Site Contact:

Students should contact Karen Breigenzer at least 60 days prior to their scheduled arrival at FMDH.\u00a0 We have a policy and information form that Karen will distribute to the student.\u00a0 The letter of good standing, proof of malpractice insurance, student bio and standard compliance items are all that is required per our policy.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n

Clinic: <\/strong><\/span>The Glasgow Clinic is part of the Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital and is a designated a Frontier Medicine site. Clinic physicians also offer hospitalist care and assist in the Emergency Department. On-call responsibilities are rotated through the staff (approx. one week per month) covering hospital admissions and obstetric admissions, hospital rounding.<\/p>\n


\n<\/strong><\/span>Hospital: <\/strong><\/span>Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital (FMDH) is a not-for-profit healthcare facility that has provided services to the community of Glasgow since 1911. A Critical Access Hospital with 25-beds, FMDH provides a full range of services including Anesthesia and Pain Management, Emergency Medicine, General Surgery, Labor and Delivery (averages 140 births per year), Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine, Radiology, and Rehabilitation Services (P.T., O.T., Cardiopulmonary).\u00a0 Learn more about our facility.<\/a>\"Frances<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n

Housing: <\/strong><\/span>FMDH owns a triplex unit directly across the street from the hospital.\u00a0 Students will have a private bedroom and bathroom.\u00a0 The triplex is shared living space and students may or may not have condo-mates, depending on schedules and housing needs.\u00a0 All linens and towels are provided as well as basic paper and cleaning supplies.\u00a0 Students are welcome to use the washer and dryer as needed.\u00a0 On-street parking is available in front of the triplex.<\/p>\n

Transportation Needs: <\/strong>Cape Air has two flights daily between Glasgow and Billings.\u00a0 Amtrak provides daily service both eastbound and westbound.<\/p>\n

Extracurricular Activities: <\/b>The major attractions of Glasgow and the surrounding areas is the opportunity for year-round outdoor recreation including rodeos, fishing, hunting, camping, shooting, canoeing, bird watching, hiking, bicycling, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and wildlife viewing.<\/span><\/p>\n

Climate: <\/strong><\/span>Glasgow experiences a semi-arid climate with approximately 12 inches of precipitation per year.\u00a0 Locals adhere to the philosophy that \u201cthere is no such thing as bad weather, just poor clothing choices\u201d.<\/p>\n
