UW AOA Pearls

The UW AOA chapter maintains a collection of student advice on different aspects of medical school—from foundations classes, to clerkships, to residency applications.

2021 AOA Pearls – Advice for Medical School

The opinions expressed in the Pearls are not the opinions and advice of Career Advising or Specialty Career Advisors. Please verify any advice provided with Career Advising and Specialty Career Advisors, as well as reading any applicable policies and procedures in the UWSOM Medical Education Program Policies and Handbook.

UW AOA Specialty Videos

The UWSOM chapter of AOA offers a number of  videos in two video libraries that explore a variety of specialties.

Each video was created by a current MS4 who applied and matched in a particular field. It is important to note that the videos have not been reviewed by Specialty Career Advisors and are meant to expose a large number of students to a career field and provide information about what they found to be helpful when applying/interviewing.

The Specialty Career Advisors have provided core advice and contact information in the Specialty Career Advisors FAQ.
