Don’t Throw Away Your Residency Interview Folders! Help Future Students

Hello MS4s in Match 2020,

Congrats again. We hope you are all doing well and staying safe. Some of you may be starting to pack for the next chapter of your amazing journey.

Residency Interview Program Folders: Email copies of documents to medadv at uw.edu
<mailto:medadv at uw.edu>Before you throw away your residency interview folders, though, please take photos of the most helpful folder documents on your smart phone, convert to a PDF using the apps Genius Scan (iPhone) or Adobe Scan (Android), and email directly to medadv at uw.edu<mailto:medadv at uw.edu>. These documents will be part of a virtual library where future students can access to get a better picture of what training and opportunities residency programs might offer.

Many of you told us you benefited from information we provided through several UW and national data resources. Please consider paying it forward to future UWSOM applicants providing resources that can make difference to students who come after you.

Residents in Medicine (RIM): https://catalyst.uw.edu/webq/survey/uweras/381329
By signing up, you are offering to be a resource for students to contact you about your program, your specialty, the overall application process, etc. You’re only active throughout your residency years (or less – just email us to be taken off the list sooner).

Best wishes,

Sarah Thomson, Linh Ngo & Tonja Brown
