I know you have been receiving emails regarding COVID-19 that have been sent out from the University of Washington. As I’m sure you have heard, there has been one death of a patient who was hospitalized at EvergreenHealth Medical Center in Kirkland, Washington. There have also been patient’s with COVID-19 who have been hospitalized at Providence Sacred Heart in Spokane, Providence Everett in Everett, and Valley Medical Center in Renton. To date, there are no confirmed cases in Alaska, Idaho, Montana or Wyoming.
I know you are all busy studying for Step 1. Please continue to study and focus on your Step 1 exam. If there is anything that changes, especially as the time gets closer for you to begin your clinical rotations, I will send another email.
